We don’t have cooks, we have Chefs. Which makes our food better than the rest! We’ve got share plates, platters, burgers, mains and desserts.
Our Chef’s don’t just make our fancy dishes either, they chip in and help create our legendary Vodka Fusion Shots. Speaking of booze, you haven’t tasted perfection until you’ve tasted one of our Slushtinis (alcoholic slushies), or one of our insta worthy cocktails.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No mask on the guy behind the bar, and customers arriving and wandering around unmasked. Maybe it's the place to go in Taupō if you want COVID. Left as quickly as possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “The Deck” is the more causal upstairs establishment connected to the restaurant downstairs. The food was very good. The beer was cold. The bartender/waitress was fun. I’d go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably my favourite bar in Taupo for the friendly staff, fantastic view and outdoor upstarts area with a pool table. The food is marvellous, gravey is as good as grandmothers recipe!

Women on duty did NOTHING to indicate she appreciated our business, she just SAT on her backside behind the bar, obviously expecting us to be OK with that !!! Extremely dissatisfied with this cafe and would NOT recommend. I am very surprised they are still in business to be honest ? Like the old saying goes..... you can't complain about the service because there wasn't any

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a great surprise we just saw the blackboard that said pizza and that's what we're looking for so we headed upstairs to a great spot were we could see the lake. Pizza was fabulous and to get an IPA by the jug was great. A contactless ordering experience took a moment to get our heads around but we got there!!

The views of the lake are great!
It is mostly outside seating but covered but still cold so wrap up warm - blankets are available.
