★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited here with my family. Service was really good even though they were busy. Lots of take away orders going on but we decided to eat in. The entrees were spot on. Freshness 5 out of 5. Taste was fantastic. I had the home made spring rolls - kids had the squid rings and they ate everything on the place. Mains were amazing too. I had the Panang Curry with chicken, and after others tasted mine, they all wished they'd ordered it too lol. Meals came out a little staggered but they were busy and only have a small kitchen so that is understandable. All entrees came out at the same time. We were offered free water right at the beginning and this was well chilled. Pricing was excellent. Very good value for money. I would eat here again with no problems at all. Other tables were immediately cleared and well cleaned too which is great to see. Has a nice atmosphere with lo-fi music, nothing too loud. I see some bad reviews - but perhaps they have changed ownership now... I suggest trying again!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is goooood ?? I ordered Basil Stir Fry (Hot) and Fish Cakes. They had the window opened for fresh air and the little water fountain running.Takes me back to Thailand. Especially with the hot weather right now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a delivery of the sweet and sour stir fry on rice and it was disappointing. The sauce was watery and bland. The vegetables were oddly cut with some very thick and some very thin of same vegetable.The mix of vegetables didn't work together and there were quartered hot tomatoes which still contained the seeded part adding extra liquid that wasn't needed. Overall just very bland and not well made.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've ordered delivery from here a few times now. Once via Uber Eats and the other times direct with the restaurant. So quick, always shows up and still hot. First time we ordered we got a little confused with the menu as it had the option Mild, but showed up and was quite spicy. Called them and they replaced it free of charge and advised us to choose no spice from now on.
I really enjoy their pad Thai, just tried their pad seew now... And it's nicely cooked, but the flavours aren't quite for me. So I'll be sticking to pad Thai and green curry from now on.
Thanks for good Thai food that is local so I don't have to go to town for it ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We'd ordered a take-away for pickup and the food was ready fast and the guy on the phone was great and repeated back the order to make sure they got it right.
The fried rice we ordered had no cashew nuts (as per the description it was meant to), and the red curry was meant to be med/hot but it was so mild it wasn't even a 'mild' curry, it was a 'not at all spicy'. And super sweet as well. So disappointing. I phoned the restaurant soon as we'd tried the food, and spoke to a lady who had said she could give us a refund of 1/4 of the meal cost back to my card - and that never happened - not even sure if that is possible to do with the customer/card not present when it was eftpos transaction. This is the 3rd time I've visited and I won't go back, there are too many other options in J'ville and this is not the first time the food there has been underwhelming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time we get a take away from Thai Tara it gets better. Really fragrant, lots of vegan options and very friendly service. They forgot tofu once but reimbursed use the next time with free spring rolls. It's definitely more on the spicy end when you order medium but all together very happy!
