About Thames Physiotherapy Clinic
As a client you will be greeted by our receptionist and asked to provide some basic information. Your physiotherapist will then show you to a private treatment room where an assessment will be undertaken to determine the nature of your condition. This process may take up to 30 minutes and will include specific questioning and a physical examination in order to establish the type of problem you may have. You are welcome to bring a support person for any physiotherapy consultation.
Your physiotherapist will provide a clear explanation of your condition and treatment and probable time of recovery. Your role in this treatment programme will be emphasised which will be tailored to meet your individual needs including any cultural requirements. If you are unclear about any aspect of your assessment or treatment please ask your physiotherapist.
Note: We prefer clients under the age of 16 to be accompanied at least once by a guardian so they may also be informed.
