β β β β β What a gem! This tiny place only gets better and better. The coffee is fabulous and now they offer a range of baked goods. The caramel slice is a bomb!
The place is well decorated and because there are very few tables it is quiet and cozy!
This is my new favourite place in Glen Eden village! Highly recommended

β β β β β Honestly, I'm struggling to think of enough words to express the beauty and true charm of this bookstore..it's just...wow! The books are honestly the most gorgeous and you are always bound to leave the door with a minimum of one book in hand. The owners and staff are the kindest and most genuine people I've met! The atmosphere is so cosy and welcoming, especially on a late Friday afternoon where you can unwind from a stressful week. The staff on Saturday are always welcoming and super kind, and the two teenage girls at the counter are so pretty inside and out! Garrett and Emma are so kind and they really are passionate about their store and as my friend described it, 'this store is something out of a movie,' which is the utmost truth. There truly isn't enough words to explain my love for this store and the beauty of every aspect of this store; the people, the books and the staff (also the coffee is to die for!).
I recommend this store, and as someone who never writes reviews, this store deserved the 5 star review! :)

β β β β β Hidden gem I'm of two minds if I should review its this perfect sensory blend, the aroma of old books and fresh coffee, with a beautiful visual match that makes you want to curl up in a corner with your coffee and a book.

β β β β β Great vibe with good coffee and books. It would be even better if the struggling pohutukawa trees in the barrels were regularly watered and fed. They would add to the atmosphere in a positive way ?

β β β β β Awesome book store, great vibe. All that's missing is a 'Narnia' type effect where you go in and it becomes a whole universe of leather couches and sofa chairs. But they're working on that from what I hear. Jokes aside, it's a great place for a conversation with some really intelligent owners, you get lots of respect if you reciprocate. For those that do not, do us all a favour and get your books online.
