β β β β β Absolute MUST DO activity when in Cardrona!!! Kel looked after my family like it was her own, especially my two boys on the quads. Little Elliott is 9 and was a complete novice at the start but by the end was zipping around the fields, doing donuts like a pro. Whilst my wife and 12 year old daughter Ruby were treated like stars on the cardrona pub run horse trek. Kel and the team really took the time to make our rides special, we cannot thank her enough for this, it's one of those family moments you will always treasure for a lifetime.

β β β β β Kelly took us out on the quad bikes for a really awesome time! It was beautiful up on the mountain, she knew all the best places for photos and had some great history! Definitely have to come back in winter when some snow has dropped! Awesome recommendation of popping into The Distillery next door too! Weβll be back Kelly ?

β β β β β Kelly and Laura were super awesome. What they had planned for us and even the whole structure of the tour is amazing, not your typical ride, they take you through mud, through snow so you get to experience a bit of everything. Even get to ride up the mountain. Was a lovely experience and even better we got to see a lot of snow!! You get to ride for well over an hour as well and if you donβt feel up to riding the whole way thereβs no pressure on you too, just simply leave your quad bike on the side and jump in on the buggy! Would highly recommend this activity and itβs well worth the money! Loved it!

β β β β β A must-have experience in Wanaka! We had a perfect time with Kelly and her horses! They are all well behaved and also have different personalities and tempers. I will recommend the Cardrona House Trekking to my friends!

β β β β β First time I've ever been on horse but Kelly and Gina are very knowledgeable and made it so easy to learn. I loved every minute. Great views and a safe environment. Can't rate them enough. Such a special experience.

β β β β β Stunning scenery which would be worth seeing in all different seasons. Wonderful horses, a variety suited to riders abilities (not all just moving couches!) The guide Kel was fantastic, hugely knowledgeable about the area and the history with a funny side to keep it fresh & interesting.
Highly recommended from an avid horse trekker.

β β β β β We had a wonderful time riding horses today and everything was great. Kelly was an amazing instructor and she made instructions extremely clear and understandable especially as we had a couple of beginners. The horses were very friendly and it made it a ton easier to ride. The ride itself was beautiful. The scenery and path was great and the instructions given made the slightly difficult parts much more relaxing. Trotting on our horses was literally one of the exhilarating parts of the ride and everything was made easier which was wonderful. I have a brother around 5 and he had the best time ever despite not having ridden a horse before. This was because Kelly was great at leading him on his horse. One of the best parts was that Kelly had actually given us a history talk on our trek as well. It was very clear and informative and I learnt a lot of things that I did not know before. The free photos we got from the horse trek of our family were so gorgeous. We enjoyed feeding the horses after as well. The whole experience was so fun and we loved it so much. 100% recommend as it is a very family friendly activity or just a fun activity to do with friends and others. Will be going again in the winter.

β β β β β What a ride! My partner and i are both experienced trek riders and couldn't have had more fun than with Kelly and her horses on the pub ride! She took such a good care of us, and is full of funny anecdotes of the local area where she has lived for so long. Cannot recommend enough!
