★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute must do when staying in Queenstown. The drive between Queenstown and wanaka is absolutely breathtaking.
Just be careful on the windey roads, it might not be so good for individuals that get car sick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great for both day and night photography! A lot of campervans park here after dark though. Drive slow and safe at night please, the road is pitched dark and windy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super amazing view at the top of crown range! I always stop at this point just for taking pictures and enjoying the view up there. Different day, different view. Most beautiful in winter with the snow on it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot. There is a good view on double conical mountain and Queenstown lake. Also the track for Mt. Pisa starts from here. Recommend at least for a stop on the trip between Queenstown and Wanaka

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still freedom camping friendly, and spitting distamce from Arrowtown. Look, its a gravel carpark... but its a gravel carpark with a million-dollar view. Get here before sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One the highest & challenging roads in NZ. The road carves it's way up the Crown range to a height of 1121 metres. It is full of curves and bends with amazing views.. One of the most beautiful drives l've ever done & highly recommend the drive if you're in Queenstown.
