About The Core
We’ve been around since 2009, the same year the iPhone 3GS was released and Android became a household name. At the time, we saw a gap in the market for high quality, independent product repairs and quality second hand devices, and so began The Core.
At our very roots, The Core is a family-run enterprise with old fashioned values. To us, the most important things are satisfied customers and happy staff. But that’s where the old fashioned thinking ends. In terms of our knowledge, expertise and experience, we are as current and forward-thinking as it gets. We have to be, we’re in the tech business.
We get people back to doing what they do as quickly and as easily as possible. We fix a wide range of electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, computers and tablets. And we also refurbish pre-loved electronic devices that can be purchased from our stores and online.

I've been waiting for their payment for months, I've called the technician and all they can do is just telling me to wait indefinitely. Gotta take my laptop back and just resell it privately. This place is merely a scam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Core fixed my logic board and battery within a week and did an amazing job. They contacted me whenever anything needed my permisssion and were very professional. They even cleaned my computer for free as an additional extra which was great! The Analysis was done very fast too and I will definetly be coming back here (if I need to) and suggesting this place to others :) Thanks The Core!

I had a horrible experience with The Core. I did a trade in deal with them and they didn't pay me immediately. I sent multiple emails all ignored, I then had to call multiple times to get my money sent. I believe this was intentional as other people have had the same experience.
The service before this was over priced, with horrible customer care, and long delays. Under no circumstance take your Apple device here. They also are not a certified apple repair shop and charge more than the certified competition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unhelpful advice. I had issues with my MacBook Pro while using a different charger and was told the charger couldn’t be causing the issues even though it was the wrong one. Then when I had my usual charger again my laptop worked fine and has had no issues since. Would not recommend trusting their advice.

I have low level IT skills and CORE is the place to go for me They listen VERY well to your problem or issue - very customer focussed - they explain clearly what the issue could be, and suggest useful options and give approximate costing which I find so useful as a pensioner, as a decision can be made according to my pocket. The last technician who assisted me was Rajul - a very helpful young man who I trusted - he said "if it was my granny I would think this is the best option" - just what I needed to hear as I dont have a great depth of IT knowledge. I have used CORE over several years and they have always maintained a consistently personal and helpful service and were always professional They know IT inside and out !!! Their costing for me was appropriate and fair .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ these guys had my macbook laptop for almost 8 months! everytime i called they just told me they were waiting on parts. Eventually I got in touch and told them enough is enough as I had been waiting for so long. They then told me my laptop was unrepairable. I got the laptop back and it is in worse shape then when i handed it to them, it doesnt even turn on now. So after 8 months, im 50 bucks down on diagnostics charge and a completely ruined laptop. DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS, I CANT STRESS IT ENOUGH.
