★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CHECK YOUR RECEIPT Have been here many times & usually order the same meal, this time it was a small portion, the meat was dry and the pastry wasn’t good, I let the owner know but he wasn’t too interested, he then proceeded to over charge me, he didn’t check it when I remarked or give me a receipt, after paying I checked the prices on the menu and found I was overcharged. I got the attention of the waitress who served me and she refunded some money. The owner conveniently avoided me because he knew he’d overcharged, I wonder how many people do they do this to?? After I left I realised the refund still wasn’t correct but I couldn’t be bothered going back, shame on them if they’re deliberately ripping off customers. Disappointing and won’t be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, being a born and bred Irishman myself I was shell shocked how rude and un personal the male Manager was. First he charged me $23 for a Glass (Not even a proper PINT) of Murphy's and a small glass of Beer shandy.
I then proceeded to question him about the over charge "Isn't this way to much? I said after payment. "Oh, how about I give you back $4 dollars, then will you be happy? He made me feel like I had made the mistake, by his condescending and arrogant tone as he completely dismissed responsibility for his inadequacy. I've read many reviews about this "Restaurant" (Not even a proper Pub) many people complaining that they have been overcharged at this establishment. The prices are a real rip off across the board, food and drinks. Can't believe the "So called" Irish owners would hire such a manager who has ZERO personality. No clue about the "Craic"
He wouldn't stand a chance running a real Irish Pub in Ireland, they'll charge you full price for not even a full "Proper" pint of Murphy's. Don't even bother wasting your money at this "Restaurant" Such a disappointment!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superbly run kitchen, the food was delicious and came out rather quickly (which was great because we were very hungry). The mushroom sauce was incredible, the chips were all golden and the side salad was seasoned to perfection. The star of the dish was out of this world, one of the greatest steaks I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. The staff were all fantastically supportive and polite. The decor was absolutely hilarious and extremely memorable. You can’t have a bad time here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great evening at the dubliner. It was busy but we were quickly seated in a cute booth and had great service from the waiter. He was very busy but checked in at the right times and always had a joke ready. Food was great and timely. Thanks kitchen and waiting staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down, the best pub meal I have ever had! Stellar service and fantastic atmosphere, if you find yourself in Methven you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to grab a pint and a meal here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two large thumbs up. Absolutely awesome. I got emails answering questions, a phone call, and excellent service when we got there. Fabulous sized sirloin steak and Stout pie.
