★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the place & was keen to.go there again. But it does not serve food. I was surprised that this is possible in 2020 when I understood that bars are supposed to provide food. It may explain the limited opening days& hours. A pity as this is a significant historic venue with amazing restoration completed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped in for a pre-dinner drink. Staff super attentive, nice range if beer and good seating. Acoustics not too bad for conversation. Central to the CBD so a handy place for post-work socialising. I'd go there again. Plenty of car parking in the vicinity, too.

The staff had great personalized recommendations and knew exactly what we wanted, even when we ourselves did not ?? Definitely a go to pub for the whole family, even a checky wee outside area?
