★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend, have ordered 2 Cakes at Christmas, 2 Cakes for a Birthday and 2 Cakes for Mothers day from Gateau House on Paramount Drive, West Auckland. Service is exceptional. Their cakes are visual feast for the eyes. The taste of their cakes are exquisite. Well worth the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious cakes! Will always love chocolate mousse cake from gateau house. The nice man at the front on Sat (when I came to pick up my order) was very lovely. Good guy. I ordered a medium cake which says a 4day order period but the team made it work with 2day notice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased this marble chocolate cake today. Its disgusting. Unsure how long its been sitting at the counter. Its definitely not fresh. Tasteless cake. We are throwing the whole thing out. The service was pathetic too. The guy was not interested in service. I asked a couple of questions but he was too busy looking at his phone, seemed like I was bothering him. Wont be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is one of the best cake shops around. I bought a kumara cake from here last week and it was super soft & moist. Staff were really helpful and didn't rush me even though I took ages to choose. I think I've tried most of their flavours and I've never gone wrong. Will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought this cake for my friend's birthday. There were so many nice-looking cakes at the shop, it was hard for a man to pick the right one. Asked a Gateau house friendly staff for recommendations. Finally (with little help), choose this trio chocolate mousse cake. The price was reasonable, but the taste wasn't reasonable ;) it was so delicious. Served in an easy to hold box which I could take to the restaurant.
Highly recommend this cake.
Planning to be back for my girlfriend's birthday cake.
