★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been coming to the good spot for years and its one of our favourites! We love sitting out in the sun with our hot drinks and catching up as it's always so welcoming. The food is delicious, cheap and convenient to grab on the go. Beautiful coffee too. A + + +

The backyard is nice to chill out at and these guys rock the single use cup-free campaign in this town with a cool cup library. Lovely staff and always up for a chat when I stop for my coffee to go. Absolutely recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't be fooled by its nondescript appearance next to shipping containers, this place does an excellent coffee and sandwich. So good that we came back for seconds during our stay in Wanaka.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A charming spot. We walked down from our Air BnB to find great coffees, snacks for gluten free, vegetarian, or neither, sweets or savory. Choose from covered tables on concrete or in the grass, near the lush garden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a lovely spot to stop and have morning tea. Whenever we pass the Good Spot, we've stop for our coffee and scone/muffin. The coffee and food is excellent as is the customer service.
If you are drinking your coffee there, you have the option of using one of their mugs. Not only do you get a discount you are expected to wash your won cup. It's a great set-up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got back to Wanaka and tried the old faithful scone and coffee duo, I reckon they’re up there with the best cheese scones I’ve had, great cheese ratio, love the hint of spice spice, and could quite happily have them toasted without butter if need be. They don’t leave a floury feel in your mouth afterwards which I like too, and they were still crispy the whole way through without the stodgy middle some scones have. All in all a 10/10 from me, thanks GS. Also like how they use NZ’s best oat milk for the flattys
