β β β β β The wait was very long, but we did have water and popodums with fresh salad on top, which was very tasty, and we could watch authentic videos about food in India - very adding to the authentic already atmosphere with beautiful background music. It was the weekend and I'm glad we made an online reservation, because the restaurant began to fill up pretty quickly, and there was a constant queue of pick up orders.
We had a lot of disappointments before, so even though the reviews were good, we weren't expecting too much, but when the food was finally served and the aroma hit our nostrils , we immediately knew that we about to dive into culinary heaven. O.M.G..wow, it was the most delicious aloo gobi I have even tasted including in India. The harmony of flavours was just out of this world. So happy we discovered this local gem, will definitely be back asap . Namaste!

β β β β β The food was fantastic. The staff were very friendly. And the atmosphere was lovely. Only given 4 stars as we waited for our food longer then those who came in after us.

β β β β β The food was beautiful , the service great and the decor was very nice. Great to go to an Indian restaurant and not have conversation drowned out by Bollywood movies on the big screen.
I Tuakau has a hidden gem in this place. A very , very extensive menu that makes me want go back for more. Well done.
? Namaste.

β β β β β It's alright for after a busy day I guess, the , they do charge extra for rice that normally comes with the curry now caused by "supply chain disruption " as they state, One thing I found interesting though, when I order my red meat dishes sometimes the pieces of meat look and taste different as if its lamb/goat combo or something else within the same dish. The prices are greater than the quality of the meal you get which is average but ok and filling. Back in 2017 and 2018 the food was twice as nice somethings changed. Chef maybe?

β β β β β We tried the place for the first time today after reading their reviews and really liked their food & quantity. The Veg biryani was flavourful & the Desi Curry was delicious. We will become a regular visitor of this place. Give it a go if you live nearby. Itβs worth the drive from Pukekohe.

β β β β β By far one of the best places to eat in the wider Franklin area. The staff are great and the service even better! Totally helps that the food is amazing! They even increase the spice levels to polar hot for someone like me who can eat spicy! Definitely our favourite spot in Tuakau and they give back to the community as well which is awesome. Highly recommend always!

β β β β β The chicken tikka was my favorite. Travelled out of area to visit here. Plenty of to go orders going out the door which was a good indication of the food.
Service was abit slow but over all a good meal.

β β β β β After scouring most of Africa and India, I would say this is undoubtedly New Zealand's best authentic Indian restaurant. Compliments to the chef and the tandoor oven. The Samon stater was absolutely devine and the Prawn Tikka Masala was better than most found in Northern India. Trust me, as a Durbanite, I know my curry. P. S. Bunnies not served here... yet.
