★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place has a really nice atmosphere whether its full or empty. The bar looks absolutely amazing. Plenty of bathrooms and knowledgeable bar staff that can make great recommendations and whip up a fantastic cocktail. Its nicely hidden away though definitely not a secret and its my favourite bar in Auckland. The food options are also really good whether you want a snack or something more substantial.

Took my wife there this weekend as we were up for a weekend away without the kids and walked all the way from the other side of the viaduct to ensure I go show her. What a waste of time and money. 5 staff, us and 3 other customers.3 staff with masks and 2 no masks. by the time we left no staff was wearing masks except person checking vaccine passes, not greeting and generally looked like he CBF to be there. Not one smile from anyone. Ordered cocktails and received them within 2 or 3 minutes. My wifes cocktail tasted fine. Mine was an Old fashioned. nothing special. my glass didn't smell like orange like the guys used to make it. rub the rim and glass. the 1 little ice cube not the way they used to have huge cubes and nice glasses. $40 for a forgettable experience. wish they had closed down instead of now spoiling it and ensuring I would never recommend it again to any of my hospitality loving friends.
