★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food with affordable price. We ordered creamy pasta, pan fried fish, zukinni pancake, and BBQ lamp. All they were very tasty. The total price was 100, which was quite affordable, and the staff were super friendly.

I was not impressed with my food - mushrooms and halloumi looked and tasted like they were microwaved, not grilled, and my whole burger and fries were cold and missing the sauce. Also, "easy to access water" was missing from the bar, which is concerning considering this is an alcohol serving premises. When finally provided, the water had floaties in it - was this supposed to be lemon? On the bright side, the bouncers were great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there tonight it was recommend to us..we where not impressed.. I had the cajin chicken.. with mash potatoes and salad .. potatoes where microwaved!! Chicken was dry and the salad below average my partner had the surf n turf. Steak was chewy scallops where unedible small meal. The only good thing was the staff where nice I would NOT recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent 5 star service. We had a simple fish bites and chips, and they were awesome, i would say i can’t remember i had such good chips:) If you are in Te Anau, definitely visit them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casual place to dine and drink on the waterfront with great views. Food is overpriced for what is standard pub fare. They were understaffed the night we were there so had long waits on food but they were super friendly, efficient and communicative so handled it really well. Perhaps go early if town is busy and you are planning to eat. Standard Lion taps included Emersons, Panhead and Macs.
