β β β β β Anzac reserve is a nice little park by the pub, with a mini replica lake the Anau in the middle, fantastic to look at.

β β β β β I thought this might be the memorial park given its name and, well, memorials haha but anyways it's a nice little picnic spot on the corner of everything. Picnic table or two available with plenty of shrubbery and flowers to enjoy around you. Simple yet effective so can't ever knock it in rating

β β β β β Little Lake Te Anau and grassed area with picnic tables to eat your lunch. You can connect from here to the Te Anau Gardens for a lovely stroll around the Gardens. Across the road from the lakefront and the Takahe statue, as well as the Miles Better Pies. Not much shade though
