★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got ice cream which was more like pudding. The ice cream in the freezer was melted on top and the display screen was disgusting and slimy. Spent $16 on 4 single scoops and ended up throwing them all out. Will not be going there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hmmm, it was the kind of meal and presentation I’d expect from the middle of nowhere rather than Orewa. We walked from the estuary and stopped here because we thought we’d give it a shot. My no frills Frittata was ok, and hubby was ok with his pork pie. The scone I doubt was fresh today as dry and crumbly. My red seal peppermint tea, is what it is, but could’ve cut the tab off before dropping it in the hot water. As has been said earlier, clean dishes need to improve and the deck area could do with a smarten up. I know COVID’s affected everyone…If you used this feed back to make simple improvements it would make a lot of difference.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THEY DIDN’T CHECK OUR VACCINE PASSES. Our bacon and egg filo parcels from the cabinet were barely warm. It wasn’t busy but our food took 30 minutes to arrive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid $61 for two by sautéed white mushrooms(4 mushrooms each at most), cold toast and frozen butter, one with salmon on the side, an Americano and a soy flat white both coffees were bitter. We were so annoyed we walked out without finishing. Floors, counters and coffee machine were dirty, the woman serving wore a disposable mask that was grossly dirty. Not sure how this place gets an "A" rating from the Council. Eat there at your own risk of being ripped off (let alone anything else) Gave 1 star because "0" isn't available
