★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a gorgeous property - very comfortable and quiet - staff were fabulous. Everything was on point and we quickly felt valued and appreciated even though this was our first stay. Every staff member we came in contact with had a warm genuine smile and was ever so welcoming and professional without being snooty - perfect! We shall be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ just beautiful! had a wonderful time!! rooms so spacious and had a gorgeous view of the lake; although at times I could hear my neighbours. nonetheless had a relaxing time w my partner!! FREE PARKING!! the $35 bill for water bottles was a bit of a surprise

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an absolutely amazing time at Hotel Rees. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating and provided 5 star service, nothing was a problem. Our villa was stunning and so comfortable. The restaurant was delicious, both breakfast and dinner. We had the most fabulous time and will definitely be back! Could not recommend more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for 4 nights and just returned. Amazing view from our room! The best customer service from ever single staff member we came into contact with. The breakfast is great, room was comfy and clean. The free shuttle into town was so handy! Would stay here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The moment we checked in all the way to check out was a breeze. All the staff were awesome. They made our stay felt like home. They were so polite and gracious. The Management upgraded us to one of the most beautiful rooms I have seen. It's immaculate and spacious. The breakfast was superb. One of the best meals I had. Thank you Rees for making our Anniversary so special and giving us the most delightful stay in Queenstown. We will be back for my husband's birthday this May. Please send my regards to all the staff. I appreciate all their help and assistance.

By the way. We got something just need them to improve but can't complain to anything. Love this place so far :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is a little higher in price, but every penny is worth it. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable with a 3-seater sofa, TV, balcony and bath. We had a party in there after our friends' wedding.
Reception is beautiful too. The staff are so pleasant and completely customer oriented. If they don't have grapes and you specifically want grapes, the chef will go out and buy them for you. Jimmy is also a star at moving your bags for you.
It is a bit tricky to let people in your room though, just because there's 2 card-lock doors, so if you don't take your key or partner to the door, you have to try and open the outer one before the other shuts. That's my only criticism.
Best hotel we've ever stayed in. Watch out for Sebastian in town at night!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I had booked to stay here for our honeymoon, and on arrival they gave us a complimentary upgrade on our room. I was particularly thankful for this, as I then broke my ankle later that first day, and spent much more time in the room than planned. The staff were wonderful and friendly, and made nothing feel like too much of an ask. We ate at the restaurant, as well as having after hours room service, and the food was superb. We both very much enjoyed our stay, and are already planning to stay there again for our second attempt at a honeymoon. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
