If you are a large group wanting to come in, we do have a function room we can book for you.
If the function room is already booked, we can take a booking in the bistro outside our busy service times, prior to 6pm, if you are later than 6.05pm we will have to give your table away as we will be using the table for walk ins.
Simply pop down to us and find a seat that suits you, at a time that suits you. Drop in before or after your movie with your friends – where else can you get coffee and dessert this late! Great food with something for everyone from Light Snacks, Pizzas, Classic Bar & Café Food, to Restaurant Style Meals; and an extensive Dessert section.
The Station is a real local’s premises in the city, and they have it all, from 16 beers on tap including the only bar in Napier City to have Heineken on Tap.
We have several big screen TV’s in the bar including one in the Garden Bar.
Separate Function Room & the largest Gaming Room in New Zealand.
Free Wi-Fi, and literally hundreds of car parks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a good day at the Station Bistro, even saw a friend and told them do not enter. Wait was an hour an half, food was cold and found a hair on the plate. No explanation, just a bad day at their office - so unfortunately my family will not be returning

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of the whole restruant we were seated right next to another 2 seater the gap wasn't wide enough however the people were very friendly.
Our breakfast was served beautifully but warm/cold
The guests next door had a wrong order and theirs too was warm/cold even the hot drinks were warm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This time round visiting the station was very unsatisfying as our food was burnt and the older lady that served us comes across as kind of rude, also she missed my order entirely and served me something different also wen i asked for water we never received it until we had to ask for it again. Was a happy customer the first and second time but the 3rd time it's a no. Most likely won't be visiting here again any time soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worse service ever. We had to wait over a hour for our food but the people that came in after us were getting their food way before us. When we said something the man was so rude. Then when we did get our food my friends food was stone cold and didnt get everything she'd ordered and our food wasn't that great either. They didn't seem to care when we complained. It used to be a good place to go to before the movie's but will not go there again and wouldn't recommend

Here we have Sirloin steak with fries and vegetables.
And garlic Prawns. Yummy!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A duty manager took our meal order and did not fill us with confidence that he understood our insistance that one meal had to be gluten free.
Very small meals
Staff passed plates in front of us to others at our table
After asking if we wanted coffee or desserts and us replying can we have five minutes, they put a chemical through the coffee machine. So we were unable to have coffee.
I don't imagine we will eat here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a Pina Colada, was to die for. The hubby had sweet and sour chicken and it was Soo tasty. I had a Lamb Shank. Meat was falling off the bone, gravy was yummy.. Had a great time and staff was lovely
