★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Beef Wellington and pale ale. Got recommended this place to try Beef Wellington when I mentioned I was in Wellington. The dish name has no relation to the city name though, just as an aside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were soooo super friendly and down to earth. Very cozy setting and food portions were so massive!! Worth your money and food was good too will definitely be coming here as they open really late and we sat in with friends and the kitchen was open till late. We walked in and ordered dinner around 10.30ish or 11pm and they served an nice hot meal ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Tasting Room, in its current iteration, has been here for a while. Under newer management have made it quiet the place to visit while in Wellington. The menu which adapts to the seasons, great staff, and an eclectic range of beers, makes this place one of my favourite bars in the Town. Summertime outside is blissful and such a collection point of a variety of people. A definite must for price and quality in a bar!

Portion sizes are massive! And the food is sooo good!
Staff were extremely friendly and the drinks were the bomb.
Would come again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great meal here. Steak to order with side salad and a cocktail as the seltzer had sold out. No room for dessert. Eating inside or outside. Great covid managment. Bus stop outside door.
