β β β β β My first time visiting this place. Its like stepping into time, i love this cosy place. Lovely staff and service. The homemade food was really tasty. I got the homemade chicken and vegetable soup.

β β β β β Always consistently good food here! Staff are friendly, food is well-presented and there are vegan & gluten-free options available. Relaxing courtyard area out back and if you sit out there, watch out for those cheeky hungry sparrows!!?

β β β β β Nice coffee and would recommend the banana, walnut and chocolate bread. Due to covid restrictions only seating is outside but as it was a live day it made very little difference as we would probably chosen to sit outside any way

β β β β β Shamrock cafe is housed in an old fencible building with smallish rooms filled with tables it has a large courtyard which is gorgeous when its warm. The food is home made and a cut above standard cafe fare, but the small rooms do tend to make it very loud when its busy.

β β β β β After finding the howick cafes packed we decided to take a bit of a wander to see what these tearooms were like. It was well worth the extra walk and the location is perfectly placed for views and the lovely garden around the front and back. The front balcony was a lovely cool spot out of the sun. The food options are equally fabulous with awesome menu and a cabinet full of great cakes and savoury options. We stuck with the cabinet as it was morning tea and enjoyed both a caramel slice and apricot and date slice. The coffee was also tasty and meant we thoroughly enjoyed this stop. We will be back to try the other options soon
Edit: have come back many times and the food is always great, finally took a photo before starting to share

β β β β β A house modified cafe. Good customer service and Ambience. All the dishes were good. Very good experience overall.Also, Howick beach is very close to this place.
