The Uniform Shoppe is one of the country’s oldest school uniform suppliers, with over 50 years of experience and knowledge in supplying bespoke solutions to more than 150 New Zealand schools.
We operate nine retail stores in the upper North Island and a flagship store at a premium location in Manukau. We also liaise closely with schools who operate their own on-premise uniform shops.
Our ethical manufacturing operations, in Thailand and Sri Lanka, are company-owned, allowing us to have complete control over manufacturing timelines and ensure cost-effectiveness for the benefit of customers.
As a vertically-integrated designer, manufacturer, distributor, we can move mountains to guarantee the quality of our apparel at every stage of the supply chain. There is no other company in our part of the world that can produce a custom-made garment at an off-the-shelf price within a four-week turnaround – any time, every time.
The Uniform Shoppe joined forces with SAS Sport in 2016 and employs almost 200 staff – close to 150 team members offshore, with the balance in New Zealand. We also have a dedicated team of graphic designers and fashion designers to help customise bespoke solutions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awkward experience, seems the 2ladys that work there are quite stressed out walking around with a stern worried look on their faces like we're gonna steal the uniforms one stood by and watched us while my son was trying on his school uniform was quite annoying What happened to good old customer service with a smile? Do they do this to everyone? And that smaller lady with the 60s hair style was quite rude. Not a pleasant first time experience.
