Great main courses, the pork belly and snapper. Unfortunately the scallops entree was left under the lamp for over 6 mins without being brought out. Salad doesn't like being heated. But the scallops were cold. It was rectified though I feel there was probably a need for more capable waitstaff . I would still return.

We have been trying to get to this place for a while as had have heard great reviews. The service was great and super down to earth and the food was superb! We will definitely return and work our way through the well thought out menu with flavour bursts that just sing in your mouth. We were well impressed and rate this dining experience as a highly recommended eatery.

Not worth the hype. Couldn't get in on Friday night for dinner so made a booking for Saturday and were a little disappointed. The garlic flatbread was absolutely amazing but I can't say the same about the eye fillet or the apparently highly regarded risotto, which were both just average. The ambience and service were good but there honestly, there are better more interesting options around.

We enjoyed the pretty little European style courtyard and desserts outside. Inside was busy with good atmosphere. A nice find down a back street, in a gorgeous art deco building. Very pleasant staff as well.

My partner and I travelled to Napier for a foody getaway that doubled as my Birthday. We chose Three Doors Up because of the raving reviews and appetising menu. We went on a Thursday, and were greeted by two friendly servers, while we thought it strange they offered no cocktail options we moved on to order our entrees. The Seafood chowder and Scallops were lovely and we enjoyed the ambience of the small restaurant. That was the last thing we enjoyed… We went on to order the Eye Fillet and the Lamb Rack both medium rare, with a steep price tag attached of $45 we assumed we were in for a treat. It could not have been further from our expectations. Both meats were sent out medium to well and well done, we promptly informed our server and got a re-fire. After another 20 minutes the same plates of burnt sides were sent out with meats that were barely an improvement. Ten minutes went by and the servers in spite of observing our obvious displeasure, avoided our table like a house on fire. Frustrated and disappointed we left shortly after. Possibly the worst restaurant experience I have had in my adult life. A waste of time and money.

Amazing food, lamb rank was amazing and the flavour of the lamb and veges was amazing! Coffee and treat option was great. Service was a little slow but they were full, waitress was lovely and really made the night.

We had a great meal here with the ciabatta starter and the steak and chicken for our mains, the steak was a great cut, cooked to perfection and super tasty. We both indulged in dessert. I would highly recommend for great food and atmosphere. Service was also very good.
