★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little area by the Karanga Plaza and the Wynyard Crossing where people can go for a dip in the water. The steps gives different levels of submersion. Make sure that you keep within the area so that you don't get run over by the boats. It is also quite a nice area to just relax and enjoy the environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to chill and take a dip in the harbour. A portion of the harbour , approximately the size of a standard pool is cordoned off for public swimming. There's a place to dive too, towards the right of the steps where you could jump off the 15ft steps into the harbour ?. No swimming allowed after 10pm.
