★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of our go to walks. Incredible views over Wellington and, on a clear day, the South Island. Pretty consistent climb up to get your heart pumping. Only downside is the short passage past the tip which means on a windy day bits of rubbish blowing past, but it’s called the tip track... so what do you expect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A grunty track which will reward you with breathtaking views of Wellington as you climb higher and higher. The surface is rugged and loose so footwear with decent grip is recommended. Would give 5 stars if it wasn't for all the garbage which is blown onto the track from the adjoining rubbish tip.
