★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NEVER USE TOPKAT... They should name themselves FLOPKAT and nothing TOP about it. very un-professional Grant(Owner)
TopKat did the re installation of the roof. Even getting the work done took long time. Always delaying for some or the other reason. The process from signing to getting the work done almost took over 9 months. With constant follow ups.
That said the least, the workmanship is poor. The cladding has come off. And even calling multiple times and leaving message there is no call back. Never use them for any work. You will never get value neither professionalism in their behavior. If there was a negative rating I would rather put that at -3 below 0. Next step for me is to go to consumer forum as the warranty as they have mentioned for 5 years still stands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys were amazing, I had a leak that has been stressing me out, they came out today to give me a quote and within less than an hour two fantastic young guys were at my door ready to fix it. All done and repaired within 20 mins and a very good price. Would totally recommend these guys and will use them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They painted our roof more than a year ago. It was badly prepped and painted in the winter so it flaked and bubbled horrifically. They also introduced more leaks. They said they would re-waterblast it and re-paint it. More than a year later, it is winter again and we have a stripped back roof but no paint and no communication from Topkat.
We will be taking all avenues to address this. Social media. Getting signs printed to display on the main road to show that Topkat created the disaster that is our roof... and then the legal route.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Top Kat repoint our tile roof and replace a butynol section. From Bryan who did the quote, to Keith who did the work, to Peter who coordinated things from the office, these guys were super professional. Honest, friendly, polite, and all while dealing with the pandemic. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They charged me $1000 for a job they never did. When a friend of mine went up the roof to check their work for me he found out they'd done absolutely nothing to repair the roof. When we confronted them, they quickly gave me a refund. They should not be operating, stay away from them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No communication, had to be chased repeatedly and given different information from different people. Then got a phone call for payment, didn't even know any work had actually been done as still NO COMMUNICATION. Work done left my roof worse off than before. They came round to "fix" the problem, it didn't work. They then became impossible to contact and never returned any messages. Took my money and I still have a leaking roof, and it now leaks where it didn't before. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took over 9 months to start the job after paying the deposit ( with me following up A LOT), no updates from them.
Had to follow up with them a few times to repair some damage caused by their gear when they finally finished the job (not mentioned in the quote). Good thing I planned on repainting the house anyway!
Not looking forward to dealing with them if I need to claim any warranty on their workmanship (will have to see if the actually did a good job)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprised at the negative reviews. When the quote was done, they gave me a timeframe to complete and they stuck to.. The office rang to set the date. Sean and Tim installed the new roof. They were professional, tidy and just worked none stop to ensure the job was done. Pleasant to deal with. The office, Peter and Grant also have been great with processing the paperwork and warranty. I'd highly recommend them based on my experiences. Thanks, great customer service and excellent to deal with.
