Yes Turnbull's Hut is about as basic as you can get. It isn't a very pleasant place. The hut's floor is just plain earth.

Two bunk Hut - you'd only want to stay in it if you were out of options. As cold as the proverbial in winter. Built to house the Racemen - building water races for the Gold extraction at the turn of the century. Of historic value - much the shame that vandals have sprayed graffiti on it. The Dam has long since drained and is well on the way to overgrowing with vegetation. To walk in is about 20-30 mins from the road end on a fairly well formed but rough walking track. A particularly cold dark hut.
