★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liberals the world over will tell you how calm and peaceful this place is; but the fact is that it's just a bridge over a river. Depending on the season you're there, the visual will only change slightly. Should you still take a picture? Yes, but don't expect to find the meaning of life or have some existential "moment" here. Compared to what the rest of NZ has to offer, this is not in the top 10,000 things to see.

It is almost guaranteed to be a wet experience. In the region with more than two hundred rainy days per year, annual precipitation is recorded in metres.
It is part of the deal there, as the abundance of water feeds magnificent lakes and waterfalls, while keeping the precious vegetation lush.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was making my way to Queenstown from Milford sound and luckily I stopped here.
Some rivers/bridges you need to stop for and this would need to be one of them. Park along the side and walk on the bridge. Magnificent rocks and rushing water with mountainous backdrop.
Such a beauty!
