★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The laksa and meet goreng are amazeballs . Uncle Man’s menu carries simple but authentic traditional dishes similar to those you would find on a side cart along the hustling bustling streets of Malaysia.
They put plenty of soul and love into every single dish. With every bit of each dish, from their Beef Rendang paste to Roti Canai dough balls being freshly made in store daily, they are worth seeking out.
Come in and tantalise your taste bud to some deliciously authentic Malaysian cuisine at their newest branch on Halsey Street, Wynyard Quarter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had 2 terrible experience's eating here, both have involved my orders being lost or missed placed by staff leading to 45+ minute wait times. When approched the staff have been extreamly unhelpful and rude. I would suggest that Uncle Man sort out a more effiecent way to process orders instead of paper recipts that are easily lost and miss placed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in at about 11.35 am, was served quickly at the counter and the food arrived after about 15 minutes. It was delicious. Yes they are very popular and understandably, they are busy during peak lunch hour times around midday. You might have to wait for a while if you come then but the people who gave them 1 or 2 star ratings just have no heart. Give them a break! They're newly opened to the area, still learning and have clearly tried to fix their mistake as there are more staff in the kitchen today when I visited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth wait for both chicken rice and chicken briyani rice which my friend had during the office hours. Both dishes are full of flavour and they are just reminding me of my home in Indonesia.. the chicken rice itself tasted like what i used to have in Medan..the briyani rice even i just had a bit from my friend, taste like nasi padang for me.. both dish are superb and full of flavour.. thank you Uncle man and keep up the great work!!
