About VetCare Tauranga
Our support staff are made up of Practice Manager, Qualified Vet Nurses, and Receptionists: Christine, Debby, Lia, Caitlin, Ashalyn, Chalice, Debbie, Libby, Maria, Karen, Sheree, Debbie M and Emma. We are all professional and skilled in our respective fields, we all have a lot of knowledge about the care of your furry family members and are happy to answer any questions. If we don’t know the answer, we will find out for you. We have a range of pet products in clinic and can give advice on what will best suit your pet, from food, collars, harnesses, toys, treats, flea & worm treatments, and much more.
We run a very busy Puppy Preschool at our Cherrywood branch in the evenings. It is a fun-filled and informative class for puppies between 8 and 16 weeks old. As soon as we have 4 to 6 puppies on the waiting list one of our three Puppy Preschool Nurses, Kimberly, Emma or Chris, will give you a ring with dates and any information you will need. These classes are a fun and safe way for the puppies to socialise with other pups and with other people, and for the puppy’s family to see how different breeds play and what play is ok. Classes also go through the basic care that is needed for owning a puppy.

Like:
1) Great reception services at vet care hospital and on call - they really listen and answer politely.
2) Katty Johnson - what an amazing person she is!! Her dedication/love to treat/help pets with being non judgmental to pet parents.
Dislikes:
1) Racist comments from vets- those were their poor knowledge about our lifestyle and our nation. And, it is offensive because it included my puppy.
2) Many visits to different vets with my puppy's same health issue - And finally, tests been done. Relief af
3) long consultations time and then fees, each visit costed me about 80 bucks

โ โ โ โ โ Saw my Italian greyhound this morning and managed to sort out her vomiting and diarrhea.....Gary was certainly very assuring and we left my furnace in their hands. Collected the afternoon and was pleasantly surprised with the bill.
