★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am absolutely disgusted by the service. The definition of a 'Vet' is= a person with a medical degree trained to take care of the health of animals. That is certainly not what these people do. Our much loved family pet came home after having been missing for 3 days. Badly injured (foam coming out of her mouth and had very deep cuts bleeding out). We took the best care of her we possibly could and decided we needed to ring our 'local' Vets thinking they would help us... the local vet was working its not like they were too busy or unavailable..and we were told when we rang sorry you'll have to wait until tomorrow. We politely told them sorry but our cat won't make it until tomorrow and they said no we can't help. We had been clients for years, they have no problem taking your money for pet vaccinations etc (we have 4 that regularly attend this Vet) but when it comes to an urgent situation or a dying pet they don't care at all. These people are heartless and quite frankly shouldn't be operating if this is how they treat animals. This is not a one off occasion either we lost a dog 2 years ago due to these peoples incompetency when we called yet again got told no we can't help. I do not recommend coming here whatsoever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are a family who has always had multiple cats and over the last decade Vet Ent Darfield has looked after our cats. A few years ago we had to say goodbye to our 17 year cat, and Katherine the vet was so empathetic and we got to stay in the room with our boy as long as we wanted after he had passed. It was a sad sad moment but we were so grateful to not feel rushed in our goodbyes. Recently another cat of ours broke its leg in a complex way. Darfield Vet Ent gave us good advice on orthopedic surgery and did all the bandage changes and after care. We felt they were interested and cared about our cat and they suppoted us humans too when we lost a bit of hope when a second surgery was needed. These are the things we remember long after the vet bills are forgotten. Thank you to all staff - you are wonderful people!
