★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been coming here with my multitude of furr babies since i moved out South about 4 yrs ago - every single vet and vet nurse i have met has been absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable and compassionate in their care. My only wish would be for the clinic to expand to a larger site with better carparking and more staff - only because they are SO good that everyone wants to get in! Love your work VAT!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time I've had to get my beloved pet put to sleep. Sunday morning they opened earlier than they were supposed to as my son couldn't hold on for his booked time and we needed to have him put to sleep earlier due to his deterioration rapidly that morning.
They had the upmost Caring team well informative, very patient as our family grieved for our loved boy of 12year Rolly .
Was the most hardest thing we've had to endure as a family was having to let our son rest in peace after his battle . Knowing it was our last moment with him ?? they explained everything down to the T, so we wouldn't be shocked at what we were about to experience ??? they made his passing as quick and painless and fearless as possible and im so grateful for the job they do and how they do it.
Just beautiful souls ?? very very much respect the job they have to do on a daily basis , so please treat them with respect dignity and love too.
Thank you's so much for everything. I will never be going anywhere else for pets care from now on .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took beautiful care of our GSD in her final months. I appreciate the love, care and genuine concern. Thank you for letting us be with her as she passed even if COVID rules had to be worked around.
At times there are long wait times, but this is a reflection of how popular they are.
Well priced, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.
Cats and foster kittens have done well through here too. 100% trust in the team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always happy with the service when we come here. They recently fit me in for a last minute checkup before our cat had to go in a cattery for a week on short notice.
They’re always kind and answer any question I can throw at them. Also lots of helpful advice around diet and care etc. Good price for the service they provide. Have been coming here for years and will continue to do so, recommend to other as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My usual vet was closed over the Christmas/New Year period for the four stat days, which of course is when my cat got sick.
A friend recommended Veterinary Associates Takanini and they were amazing. The receptionist was very helpful and slotted us in for a check up. The vet Jess was very lovely, compassionate and handled the cat with ease. The cat had subcutaneous fluids and B12 but didn't improve so I phoned in the afternoon and the vet was very helpful and suggested returning the next day if there was no improvement.
Unfortunately, the cat was listless the next day so we went back. The clinic reception was able to book us in to see the same vet who was again helpful and recommended IV fluids and x-rays. Unfortunately, things weren't good on the x-ray and after an exploratory surgery the cat had to be put down. She had cancer throughout her intestines and her liver. However, I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff, their efficiency and the help that they gave. Nothing they could have done would have changed things but at least I know she was in good hands for her final moments. The prices were also very reasonable considering it was a public holiday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience, staff are always lovely, handled my Dog/son with care. During consultation the veterinarian explained everything in detail as well as giving me the opportunity to decided if the overall medication was going to be financially affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I couldn't be happier with our Vet, describing the effort and care they have provided to my beloved tripawd Indiana as amazing is quite literally a gross understatement. From the moment we walked into the clinic all those months ago facing a horrendous decision, the vets and staff have been nothing but helpful and supportive.
You have helped my pooch fight the toughest of battles and you have been by her side through all of it. You have given her months of life she wouldn't have had and some dignity right to the end, whenever that comes.
A special shout out to Jess our Onc Vet, the care and professionalism you have displayed with my Indy is a testemanent to you and the clinic. Every dog I own will be brought to Takanini (if you'll have us ?) because I know you will give them the same level of care youve given indy. She may not show it, but she behaves better with you than any Vet she has ever seen before. Thank you for all the research, advice and help, we gave it our absolute best shot, and a special thanks for taking my word for how gentle she is and not muzzling her during the treatments.
