★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You will not find a better Vet clinic in Taupo. I highly recommend VETPLus as they are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I have a cat and a puppy so always needing some advice which the never fail to give!!
Recently I attended the puppy pre school, this was the best thing I did for me and my new puppy! We learnt so many new skills.
100% recommend using this vet practice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought my cat in at 8:15am on Monday morning, without an appointment, with a suspected broken leg. A vet saw him within 15 minutes, 3 hours later they had finished operating on his leg injury (despite having other major surgery jobs that morning), which they deduced was from a dog attack, and I was able to take him home that afternoon with medicine and detailed instructions for nursing him, including two free follow up checks. Outstanding service from a truly compassionate and professional team. Thankyou, VetPlus Taupo. Edit: cat has made a full recovery, he needed a third follow up check and extra antibiotics to treat an infection, and they only charged me for the antibiotics.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was fast. Staff were great. They were encouraging a little over cautiousness post surgery. However, this was a good sign of care and support for the wellbeing of pets, and likely all the animals they treat. 5+ stars from me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Big Thank you to the Team at VetPlus for the outstanding service for our wee dog as we were passing through Taupo on our holiday. Prompt service, everyone so friendly and helpful. She was one sick little girl, but with outstanding care and attention, she was so much happier on collection. Highly recommend.

Holly has provided amazing after hours support and has taken immense care of our wee fluffball. We are incredibly thankful to all the stuff at Vetplus. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That's two for two now that this vet clinic has incorrectly prescribed treatments for my dog. The first time they got it wrong when he had an issue with his eye. Now he's on the wrong antibiotic for a skin issue and it's not working to stop lesions. Lucky I have a friend who owns a vet clinic in another city who has correctly diagnosed things. I won't be coming back to VetPlus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ been coming to Vetplus for about 14 years, and can not speak highly enough of them. Holly looks after our Rottweilers, (she is fearless!!!). She's the most amazing young lady, always caring, knowledgeable, calm, and sensitive...we love her. Jean at the front reception is also caring, and super when it comes to vet advice with over the counter medications etc, a valuable asset for sure. All in all...every vet here is worth their weight, and do a fantastic job. (Judy & Billy Duncan)
