★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a 2 bedroom apartment via Booking.com. As it was a self check in, had to constantly chase Tracy to get details and then found the lock is in a different location to the building. The apartment was small and TV aerial kept on flickering the programs. Lift had a notice about no drugs to be kept in the building which indicated the type of people living there. Got charged a NZD100 bond which was not informed at time of booking, then to get it back was a nightmare. Had to constantly chase again Tracy and had to get Booking.com involved. To top it all, AFTER staying at the property, Booking.com sent us an email stating we were a no-show and the booking was cancelled. We asked them who informed you of this and was told it was Tracy. Would recommend to look elsewhere for accommodation otherwise you will end up with the same problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic example of a building that was made to be sold, not lived in. Less than a decade old and it’s already falling apart.
The elevators break down aprox every 2 months, there is little to no maintenance or regular cleaning done on the public areas, the gyms air conditioning has been disabled (even in 28* heat at 80% humidity), swimming pool heating turned off - ice cold, sauna falling apart (exposed sharp screws, wood leaning against heater as a fire hazard, NEVER cleaned) none of the apartments come with heat pumps standard. Plenty of munters living here too, some probably emergency housing. Had drunk people passed out in the lobby etc. Mask mandates in public areas not enforced, so it’s impossible to social distance from Covid in the elevators etc. lots of passive aggressive notes everywhere from management (that are never followed up on anyway) that leave the place feeling hostile and unwelcoming.
That all being said, this is probably true for all of Auckland CBD accommodation right now. Nobody actually cares about tenants, it’s all just developers and landlords lining their pockets.
