β β β β β Hidden gem. A wee way out of Hanmer but if you like peace and quiet this is goto. . They tempt you with a cheese plater and bottle of wine. Thats one of the many reasons you can't stop talking about this place. A meal out or cheese plater and wine. We stayed in. The views unreal first thing in the morning, big rooms, big cheese plater (I might have mentioned that already) excellent

β β β β β Lovely place, surroundings, and host. Cheeseboard and wine on arrival, immaculate cosy room, heatpump, and electric blanket on the bed for those cold nights. Perfect for couples wanting to relax

β β β β β Fantastic location and reasonably priced. Live like Royalty while looking out over, what looks like, the whole Hurunui. Would go back tomorrow if we could find a good excuse. Will definatley be back some time soon - thinking mid winter, brisk walks and a roaring fire.

β β β β β The rooms were immaculate. Comfortable and quiet. Free wine and cheese platter. And Lunar the dog was so cute. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. So peaceful and relaxing up on the hill. Highly rated by us.

Very friendly and professional.
Clean and well maintained place.
Rooms had everything we needed..
Complimentary cheese board and wine was a plus.

β β β β β Absolutely beautiful property!! It's so peaceful and quiet with AMAZING VIEWS. The lodge is beautifully done. We were lucky enough to have the lodge to ourselves, we went for a walk, played games, enjoyed the the quiet and views. We will definitely be back again it's much nicer staying here rather than in town with all the noise. And to top off our morning Luna came in for a visit and lay on the floor for about 20 min getting rubs, sorry about the hair on the floor. 100% would recommend staying here, I could keep blabbing but i won't.
