★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there last year for treatment and was appalled by the dismissive, borderline rude attitude displayed by Lorraine Smith. She doesn’t explain procedures well and becomes visibly irritated if the patient insists on a clearer, more comprehensible explanation. Constant glances to her watch indicated that she had better things to do than to answer a patient’s questions about an invasive procedure. She seems to be running her private affairs while attending to patients; in any case, she was answering her mobile while I was there and had discussions with tradespeople (or so it seemed) – not just during the consultation, which was bad enough, but also during the actual treatment. To a certain degree, I felt pressured to have the treatment – I consider myself lucky that I didn’t experience any negative effects. By the same token, I did not experience any improvement either, which means that I wasted quite a bit of money.
The nurse/receptionist, Alex Aroha, is friendly enough but seems to fulfil the function of some sort of an “enabler”. I’m not surprised to see her name under the 5-star review below. Why would an employee give the business she works for the highest rating, purporting to be a patient? It would appear that the other 5-star review is also from an associate of Lorraine Smith. These are the hallmarks of an operation that is intent on misleading its customers/patients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having dealt with three large moles on my chin and check for the past five years, I finally decided to have them removed. Reluctant to go to a skin consultant to have to have the job done, I nevertheless decided to seek professional help. Being a young male, I might confide that this reluctance was in-part due to a slight fear of stigmatization, notwithstanding the pervasive feeling that I should simply 'make do' with my moles. Understanding my position completely, Vital Face and Vain made me feel welcomed and well looked after throughout my procedure. A wonderful job was done in removing several moles from my face.
Having initially made an appointment to simply have the moles removed, Dr. Loraine Smith additionally addressed the large acne outbreak present on my neck and forehead. Noting my skin condition and explaining to my very clearly just how acne develops, it was also discussed how store-brought facial products might be making the condition worse. Certain medication and creams were thus prescribed to help alleviate me of any further acne; medication that I was able to use that very night!
Helping me now to feel less self-conscious of the highly noticeable imperfections that once plagued my face (ance will nevertheless take a while to disappear), I will definitely be going back to Vital for more treatment if further moles appear.
Unfortunately, Google does not allow for 10/10 reviews. However, Vital Face and Vein are without a doubt highly deserving of such a rating. I strongly recommend this clinic to all; I know I'll be going back ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They did a fantastic job of removing 6+ skin tags. The procedure was quick and after the local, was totally painless. Loraine was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed the treatment room banter. If I had have known it would be this reasonably priced, I would have had them all removed a long time ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good experience at Vital. Reasonably priced treatment, Lorraine was knowledgeable and knew exactly what she was doing. I always get slightly nervous at Doctors and Dentists, but as soon as I was talking with her, I felt completely at ease due to her relaxed and calm nature. The procedure was quite literally painless as well. Definitely going back in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Partner had his mole removed recently, horrible experience and will not be returning. Staff were rude nor did they bother to ask how he was feeling or if he felt ok for the procedure to go ahead as it took 3 attempts for the painful anesthetic to be administered and even then he still could feel the procedure. Fair to note he was uncomfortable and anxious. For over $500 for one mole removal you would expect better service.
