Vivo Hair Salon Dixon Street - Te Aro

I absolutely loved my time at Vivo Dixon Street. The service I got from Anita, Bonnie AND Jessica (I was so spoiled to have them all take part in my treatment!) was friendly, professional and fun. I walked away so thrilled with my cut and my smooth, soft and silky hair after the kerasilk treatment. I was new client and went because of the treatment voucher but now I'll be a returning client for all my hair cuts!

I recently had my hair colour-corrected from green and orange to a beautiful, natural looking blonde balayage. The service from Bonnie was beyond compare and I couldn't recommend her professional services more. I was so happy with the result, and subsequent follow up appointment touching up my roots, making sure that the colour stayed in my hair. Outstanding service, thanks so much Bonnie!

I'm really gutted. I went in for a balayage/ ombre colour that my partner had got me for my birthday and unfortunately Mary didn't listen to me at all. I hadn't had my hair done for 4 years and it was all beautiful natural hair down to my lower back, I told her I wanted to keep as much of my natural colour as possible and mainly lighten the ends. I walked out with basically a full head of foils and none of my natural colour. She also did not listen about the style of hair cut I wanted and completely brushed it off when I told her I really don't like straight across cuts... guess what type of cut she did! I can deal with the cut and colour that I don't really like but what I can't deal with is the state of my hair. I have patches all over my head where the hair is SO damaged that I can't keep it from frizing up uncontrollably. I have naturally straight hair and I have NEVER experienced this before. It is so fried that I can't keep it down. I went back reluctantly a month later to try and sort it out, all I wanted was to know how to improve the state of it an manage it (without placing blame) but Mary blamed me for the state of my hair! Claiming that I had used the wrong products and it must be the olaplex that I had been using (even though she recommended the olaplex shampoo and conditioner that I'd been using!). She did a moisturizing treatment on it and continued to blame me for the state of it, telling me that this happens with hair thats been bleached a few times, even though I kept reminding her that my hair was virgin hair when I came in! In fact on the first appointment I could see her trying to hide how much breakage had occurred. I walked out of the treatment relatively happy with the state of my hair and I purchased even more products to try and fix the damage. Unfortunately as soon as I wased my hair (which was 3days later on her recommendation) it went back to the same frizzy mess. Its been months now and I have used the products she sold me religiously and done everything under the sun to try and repair it but my hair is still completely fried and I am devastated! The other staff seemed really lovely and I really wish I had gone to someone else but unfortunately my hair is in the state its in now and I guess there is nothing I can do but wait till it grows out.

Bonnie was awesome, I went with her recommendation of hair color n she made sure the color suited my skin. I have been getting lot of compliments for my hair, she was very friendly, answered all my questions. Definitely going back !

I have been getting my hair cut here for a couple of years now (mostly by Jess, sometimes by Mary) and every time has been great. The cut always looks sharp, and my hair always leaves feeling fantastic. They always listen to what I'd like and help me when I am unsure.

Awesome experience. I hate trying to find a new hairdresser. Bonnie-Jo was recommended to me and I strongly endorse that recommendation. She was friendly, professional and did exactly what I asked her to do!

Bonnie Jo is amazing and so talented. She fixed my hair that had been cut poorly by another hairdresser. It now looks great and I feel much happier with it! She's friendly, professional and you can tell, is very dedicated to her job. I will be back for sure. :)

I got my hair done by Graham and am so happy with the results! He did exactly what I asked from photo references and created a beautiful blonde full head of foils. Pepper also assisted and was also amazing, both stylists were friendly and professional and I would definitely recommend them to others.
