★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got there around 14:47 and the woman at the front entrance advised me they stop processing driver's licence applications at 15:00. She pointed to an elderly woman slowly filling out her forms, and said to me, "I told her she was the last one, I can't send her home. By the time she finishes it'll be after 3pm." I had my driver's licence application forms completed online and printed, so all I needed to do was pay, get my photo and signature done. I could've done that way before the other person painstakingly completed filling out her forms. She was just totally intent on sending me away. I'm not sure if there was a mental health spectrum at play here, or just very poor customer service, but the total lack of understanding, and lack of plain common sense was remarkable! I just wondered what happens if a few people picked up forms and were filling them out, would service come to a dead halt? That's what it seemed like to me as there was no queue, just me.
Also, the website does not mention that they stop taking driver's licence applications at 14:45!
I then called VTNZ New Lynn who said they take the last application at 15:30. I got there at 15:25 to a queue, but my forms were gladly accepted and I was told to wait in my car until called as there were too many people. I got much better customer service from Jay in New Lynn!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service. Got trailer WOF and drove about 2km before one of the wheels nearly fell off! Can't understand why they didn't see this when they checked the trailer. Trailer was obviously unsafe. Went back to them afterwards and they didn't want to know. Just said go to Repco to get new bolts. Bad attitude. Rude. Hopeless!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service by everyone I interacted with here (with the exception of reception) was awful. For the high price you are paying, you wouldn't expect to receive a complete lack of common courtesy, combined with a generally unfriendly and unhelpful attitude. But you will.
Highly recommended if you want to pay high prices for low quality services while being treated like a stray dog?

He deserves definitely EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR. We need more like him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in and the guy at reception with black hair I wish I knew his name to write this directly to him, but thank u so much for such great service, you were so vigilant and got things done heaps quicker than the person who was there on Saturday and made the mistakes I had to come back and fix, she also took along time to sort out what I needed whilst there was a long queue, but this guy I think he is Maori or possibly Polynesian, never good to assume one's ethnicity but I hope ur boss sees this so they can personally thank you and give u a raise or something, u are a real credit to the business. U rang around to get in touch with me after to let me know what I needed was ready to be picked up!! Thank u for great service and just getting what needed to be done, done.
