★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place with a magnificent view. The rooms and kitchen were all spacious and well catered for our needs. The beds are comfy, very clean toilet and bath. We didn't mind the steep drive going to the property as the ocean view are all worth it! We stayed during winter and the rooms were warm and cozy. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented this huge house with three families and had a wonderful time! We stayed in winter but the home was lovely and warm, we could walk to town and the views were phenomenal!
The booking agent was really helpful. We had to call the manager and they too were great, giving us a free late check out!
We have booked again for summer - thanks so much to the owner for sharing their magic property!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Your review: Perfect views and perfect location. House exceeded expectations, everything you need is there. Loved the wee front deck, was lovely to sit out at night and watch a full moon rise over the bay. Beach literally 2 min walk away, as was bus stop. Will definitely book again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous spot.Spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and watching the world pass by. Anakiwa is perfect for a holiday-well equipped,comfortable beds,nice powerful shower,great fridge/freezer,TV,chromecast and stereo setup. The BBQ looked good but we didn't use it. Minor fault was Aircon stopped working on day 1.Contacted manager who dealt with the problem within a few hours but was unable to get a technician till the day before we left (long weekend problem). Would have been nice to have on in the evenings but during the day there was a good airflow through the house. Made good use of local restaurants and vineyards. Will definately consider this spot highly for our next holiday on Waiheke. Good email contact with Waiheke Holiday homes when booking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Palm Beach Magic! The house was perfect for our needs and we felt so comfortable. The spa and pizza oven was a great bonus. The views amazing! Would definately return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to say how disappointed I am with the waiheke holiday homes team. We booked a lovely house in Onetangi for 3 nights. Unfortunately after the first night my partner and I were covered in flea/bed bug bites. The second night my partner resorted to sleeping on the couch and I got bitten further. We bought this to the attention of the manager of the property and I emailed waiheke holiday homes with pictures of the bites. We received a response saying that it would’ve been sea lice. This was ironic in the sense that we had not been swimming the whole time we were there and weeks prior to this. It can also be noted that I’m a Registered Nurse and work in dermatology. We spent $100 on a “linen” cost and $100 on a cleaning fee. It is a shame that we received no further communications and no compensation for our bad experience. The house was great otherwise but this left a sour taste in our mouths.

Yes we did email with pictures after the first night but did not get a response. I then text the property manager after waiting for a reply. We used 2 cans of insect repellent before we went to sleep and slept with all the windows closed. Which made for a very hot and uncomfortable sleep. The fact of the matter Is that all these things are useless if what you are getting bitten by is not a mosquito. Again, it’s a shame you fail to recognise that we were bitten by fleas or bed bugs. I would encourage you to sleep in the bed we slept in and let us know how you go.
