★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was trying to buy local and support Carterton requested a quote. Was told quote would be ready in about 10 days. I waited but nothing arrived. A few days later I rang and was told i would be contacted in about an hour or so with an update. Nothing no call back. Emailed them no response.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asked for a quote to rewire, came in at $10,000, which sounded like a lot for a 60sq meter house, that we later learned is already partly rewired.
2 other quotes came in significantly cheaper so I cancelled the job and and asked for the $1,000 deposit back. Wairarapa Electrical said that they had to make phone calls to the tenant and power company so they are reluctant to return the deposit, in full. So far I haven't seen anything back.
The 2 stars are for a job I had done previously which went ok.
