We done the long track....started early thank goodness as the warm wind was baking us.
Take water, sunscreen, hats as there is NO shelter...NO toilet.
Wreck seen best at low tide so check the tides.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once you get past the smelly sewage ponds it's peaceful and beautiful. Fun spotting the birds. A bit sloshy in parts so take suitable footwear.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As another reviewer said, the first part of the walk takes you past a sewerage processing facility, so not the nicest smell if the wind is blowing your way, but once past that it opens out and is a pleasant walk.
Flat gravelled paths make it an easy walk too if you don't want to be storming up hills.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just think it’s important to note for the first 15 minutes of the walk you are walking past the main sewerage treatment plants in Blenheim. It’s great what the council have done to make the walk as pleasant as possible. Maybe just don’t take someone you trying to impress ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very open walkway that is nice and flat, but not much to see except the surrounding hills and the shipwreck that is at the end.
Loads of tagging on the boat, so looks a bit tacky, but still cool to see. Went from the boat to the carpark in 50 minutes, did not do the full loop though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice flat local walk. We enjoyed a sunrise stroll. It's clean the whole way but the ship is marked up a bit. Still worth checking out. It's peaceful and open view.
