An amazing walk with beautiful views. Allow at least 2.5 hours or 3 for the walk, especially if youre a fast walker and feel like dipping your toes in the water hole! Maybe you want some more time. There are breathtaking views, beautiful scenic views, awesome fun activities like finding fairy hits and characters hidden in the rocks and trees (perfect for the kids or those who like a little hidden gem of activity). 3 awesome treks to follow and each with their own unique beautiful spots, very different views and totally worth every step of the way. The paths have been marked pur perfectly, its been well thought out and you also have some great educational options along the way. 5 star recommended

Wish we had spent more time here. Will come back with a picnic and go to the swim hole.

A wonderful place, full of magic. We were with two children and the younger (7 years old) loved wandering and looking for hidden fairy houses gave him a lot of fun. 3h walk, swimming in a hole in the rocks and kayaking when is high tide. Besides, the children were pleased to see horses, sheep and a miniature Highland Cattle around the campground. After the walk, you can drink coffee, eat homemade cake or ice cream. The hosts are very nice. Thank you, we definitely recommended this place.

A fun unique experience and great with our 6yo. The path is well marked and there are signs informing you about the plant life and Kauri trees. Definitely worth a stop.

Brilliant piece of geological history, combined with a great walk through native forest trees. An ideal stop for some fresh air, exploring and learning. Nice place to camp if on a road trip.

Incredibly beautiful place, so underrated too! So much variety of walks, charming details and beautiful scenery, and the kayak trip is the best we've ever been on! Everything is well maintained and the owners and really friendly. Highly recommend staying the night at the B&B or just coming for the day - this'll be a highlight of your trip!

Out of the way for most but we stayed at the Horeke accommodation so close by. It is easy track and u can go for swim in the stream also to cool off. Wear good boots, carry a bottle of water and phone for loads of photo! Charge of 15 per person applies.
