★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the oldest church in the Waterview area. In 1875 the first service was held in a home then located on the site of the block of flats now adjoining the present Church. In 1883 services began on the present site in a building constructed with voluntary labour. That original church building is now situated behind the present day, main church structure which faces Great North Rd and was constructed in 1910.
