β β β β β A very short easy walk to reach the waterfall. Absolutely stunning for a small waterfall in the city.

β β β β β Nice hidden gem in a busy city. You wont feel you're in the city. Paths are narrow so be careful if you're taking your bike with you.

β β β β β Absolutely beautiful, quite, and peaceful walk well within the city.
Great option on a hot summer's day. Waterfall is good but dangerous and polluted so no swimming. Great for a picnic spot, sit under a shade and listen to sound of water while eating something yummy ?
Easy walk as most of the walk is flat.

β β β β β Beautiful walking and biking route. It's also kind of bish walk and very peaceful and relaxing. It is hard to imagine this is inside the city. Would love to go here again and take my kids as well. You can enter from Great South road and from Unitech campus as well. Avoid going in the dark if you are biking.

β β β β β A hidden waterfall. The only natural waterfall in Auckland Central comes with some disappointment. The surrounding area of the waterfall is poorly maintained and the upstream water is polluted with algae. Despite not recommended for swimming, there are still people swimming in the water.
If better maintained, the only waterfall in central Auckland can be a great attraction for a short getaway from the cityβs hustle and bustle.
Good for a family picnic only if no one is using the area.

β β β β β Beautiful. Kids loved it.
Safe to swim and pop some manus
Not hard on the legs at all.
Also a bush walk if you wanted to wander off.
Shaded area aswell but I would expect this spot to be crowded on hot days

β β β β β Pretty cool watching people pop manus in the water, its actually quiet entertaining. Definitely something to do on a hot day. Obviously, a caution NOT to swim in the water, because its polluted storm water, but something cool. Also the hut was cool to find.
Great workout if you're keen to run the track itself, just be mindful, its a one man track, not alot of room to quickly move past people. But a great quick escape from the city life to nature.
Please pick up your rubbish
