About Wellington Surf Lessons
Wellington Surf Lessons provide fun and enjoyable lessons for both beginner and advanced level students. Our experienced instructors have classes running every day the surf is up (summer and winter), so you can get the best opportunities to surf quality waves.
We run super fun group classes, private lessons, team building classes for local businesses and a special schools safe surfing program for local schools.
If you'd like a more focused approach we offer special surf lesson packages, which include your own Personal Surf Trainer, Weekly Lessons plus we put together a complete Lesson Plan for you, so you can get your surfing to where it needs to be! - Click Here for more info!
Wellington Surf Lessons is based at Lyall Bay Beach and also goes mobile to catch the best surf conditions on the Kapiti Coast (Titahi Bay and Otaki) and Castlepoint, Wairarapa.
All our instructors have trained with Surfing New Zealand (SNZ) which courses are accredited by the International Surfing Association (ISA) and recognised throughout the world.
We provide all the equipment you need for an awesome surf experience! (No extra cost for equipment during lessons)

We feel much more confident surfing now even after only one lesson and can't wait to go back for more!

Lessons are nice and at the end they still offer refreshments which is the best idea especially after a surf session. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to surf.
