Honestly, avoid this lousy branch in Te Awa.
Lots of better banks in NZ IMHO.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being a Westpac client I love that Te Awa has a SMART ATM which can take coins notes large sums of $$ that are instantly available to who or wherevers account you sent a deposit it ,its great for sending money to ya kids who've run outta gas in Waihi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A busy place indeed. Line out the door. All I wanted was to activate the new card, they had said I could activate online... line actually moved fairly quickly. Although what I thought would be a quick simple job. The guy that served me had to go talk to his boss (hey I know we all gotta learn) but was gone 15 minutes (yes I timed him haha). Then had to go take a color copy of my driver's license (had the same license, got my mortgages through westpac n personal loans before that. I rekon they would have copied my same license 10 odd times now).
But yes, mission was successful. Although took 40 minutes longer than my expectation, I was happy to be able to spend my hard earned money again ?
