★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a good place to visit especially for someone who love trekking. Every some distance there is a highlighted arrow sign in orange colour to follow the route. Route is quite narrow in some place. Some route is so steep you probably have to use your hand for support to climb. I have done 2hour trek to reach up, there is another trek of 2hour joining to reach the Mt. Pirongia summit which I would prefer to do in future. Things to carry water, comfort shoes like sports shoes, wear flexible cloths, Some light Snacks, and a support stick if not than you can find something like tree small branch or stem. Children under 12 not prefer but can do a forest walk of 1hour a different route.
