β β β β β I recently stayed at Wharekea lodge with family. The location of this place is spectacular, overlooking the lake and mountains. It is very close to Wanaka and all it has to offer. We were very comfortable here and would love to return one day.

β β β β β We had the pleasure to visit the WKLC during our honeymoon and was certainly one of our highlights of the trip. They make you feel like family and that you have a valued place in NZ to comeback. They set us up from skydiving and heli ski activities to high end dinning in the lodge. We hope to come back with the kids someday.

Everything was perfect. ,The food, hospitality, our room, the lodge, the grounds etc. James and Jethro's amazing food including gluten free and involving us in the menu. Will definitely be back! Best wishes all!
