★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Specialty for my family are the fresh fish and mussels and/or oysters with crispy golden batter. Battered potato fritters are also a delicious treat with fresh chips enjoyed by littlies as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never fails to disappoint. We always stop at Whau Valley for fish and chips when heading north from Auckland. Weve tried other places but not nearly as good. Snapper always fresh with crispy batter. Chips fantastic too. Clean and staff always very friendly. I phone ahead and it's always ready on time. Thanks. See you next time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got a bread crumbed Snapper and Dory with chips. I had never tried Dory before, but it was cooked well and was very moist. I thought the prices were a little high for the fish, but they were delicious. The chips were well-cooked and crispy, just the way I like them. There was maybe a bit too much salt on the food, but I would definitely go back there again! I recommend getting the bread crumbed fish :)
