β β β β β So.. 3 years ago, my father took 2 weed-eaters to this chap... he procceded to tell him they were stuff, and could not be repaired. Reckoned my father should buy a new one.
He didn't. Just as well.. i returned from Australia - grabbed my fathers first weed-eater.. pulled it apart, all was fine apart from the pull-start spring... So i rang the guy for a price on the part, $70 + - rang the crowd out in kumeu - $20 - guess where i went to get the part...
End result.. put in new spring, cranked it over - Works perfectly..
So one can do the math - liar, incredible mark-ups, and would apparently only be friendly to pritty females - judging by the other review - wonder if he ripped them off..
So highly dont recommend them to anyone..

β β β β β I have never meet such a rude arrogant person like the old guy that works there, not to mention the amount of money he charges for parts, do yourself a favor and talk to the crew at the Stihl Shop Kemeu, very friendly and helpful.

β β β β β Not often you find a place that charges you less than quoted amount and delivers ahead of schedule! I can see why everyone in the area recommends you guys! Used my lawnmower after and it cut like it was brand new again so really happy about that.

β β β β β 20 years ago I purchased a Shindaiwa C350 from this store.Brush cutter was recommended by Jim.Has been a fantastic buy.
Visited store today and Jim assisted with placing a blade on the machine.
Always very knowledgeable and helpful.

β β β β β Extremely rude man. I was given a quote from staff a week earlier and paid a lot more than quote. Told me that my kids (all good mature kids in teens) would have put cockroaches in the petrol tank because there is no other way they could have got in there! Didn't offer to help me lift it in the car. Go somewhere else if you want good service at a reasonable price. I was actually quite shocked with his manner.

β β β β β This workshop has been around for a long, long time, servicing Whenuapai and surrounds. Just as good today as it was 40 years ago. Wish more places were like this, but everywhere is glitz and big chain branding and no substance these days. Every time I've needed them, they have pulled out all the stops. Well done and keep it up, lads.
