★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent staff, yes you have a long wait ahead but well worth it. I ended up spending 5 hours but the hospital was no better on time this time of the year and once was attended was well looked after. Had a young British lady who looked after my cut foot and made sure I was comfortable at all times and never rushed even tho they where flat out. 5 stars.

Every time, sure there's been a wait but we have always been dealt with professionally.
For folk that have had to wait a very long time - it's understandable and very frustrating, but at the end of the day it's all triage based and the most urgent cases are always seen to first.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time going to White Cross with my shy 4yo and was so impressed with how respectful the staff were.
They explained everything and asked him before they did anything. Took all of the anxiety away for him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit of a wait (approx 45 minutes) as expected, the receptionist, nurse and doctor were all friendly and helpful. Disappointed however with the lack of communication with the pharmacy next door. Told to wait in car for prescription to be delivered - waited 30 minutes, and finally called pharmacy only to be told they did not have any record, so they had to go in and collect it manually. Another 20 minute wait - on a hot day with a sick child, not great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Lawrence Parker explained my injury using a model of the shoulder showing tendons and bones. He was concise, friendly, empathetic and easy to understand. The treatment regime he prescribed has worked a treat. Highly recommended ? Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute disgrace. Spent 4 hours waiting for an appointment for a recurring case of cellulitis. The appointment lasted 30 seconds (I kid you not). No enquiry as to why the cellulitis might have come back, what may be causing it, what I could do.in the future to prevent it. At $72.00 for the appointment you might have hoped that someone was actually practicing medicine but no. It seems like the clinic is run for the benefit of someone to make as much money out of people (I won't use the word patients) in the shortest amount of time possible. They should be embarrassed to call themselves healthcare professionals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shocking service shouldn't be allowed to operate as an A and E , husband had a work place injury didn't want to block up the hospital service so opted for user pays, was told the wait time was at least 4 hours , pathetic was expected to sit in pain with a potential broken foot in the waiting room. And then told their xray machine is broken !!! They are the most expensive doctors in Whangarei and yet this is the service. Told me the hospital is only 2:5 hours wait. Went there and they told me I should have gone to white cross, but once I explained the situation they understood but we're very annoyed as this happens all the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly ladies at reception and spacious place to wait. Nurse and doctor were kind and I felt well looked after. Ten people were waiting before I arrived so waited for 50 minutes and then 20 minutes for the doctor.
